Returns & Refunds

Your Statutory Rights Protected.

We want you to love your Garlic Shop order. Because we sell food, our policy is split between Perishable Goods (Fresh Garlic) and Non-Perishable Goods (Kitchen Tools, Merchandise).

1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (NON-PERISHABLES)

For non-perishable items, you have the legal right to change your mind.

The Window: You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us that you wish to cancel.

The Return: Once you notify us, you have a further 14 days to send the items back.

Refunds: We will refund the full cost of the item plus the standard delivery charge you paid when ordering (Regulation 34).

2. PERISHABLE GOODS

Under Regulation 28, items that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly are exempt from the right to cancel.

We cannot accept returns on perishables unless it arrives damaged or faulty.

Once a food seal is broken, the item cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

3. DAMAGED, FAULTY, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or otherwise not as described:

The 30-Day Right to Reject: You have 30 days from delivery to notify us of a fault for a full refund (Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 20).

Evidence: Please email support@garlicshop.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage.

Return Shipping: If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the cost of the return or replacement shipping. Otherwise, you are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

4. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION

Non-Perishables: Items should be returned in a resaleable condition. We reserve the right to reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by unnecessary handling (Regulation 34(9)).

Non-Refundable: Gift cards and items with broken hygiene seals (food items) cannot be returned.

5. HOW TO START A RETURN

Email support@garlicshop.co.uk with your order number.

State the items you wish to return and the reason.

For non-faulty returns, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot refund items that don't arrive.

6. REFUNDS

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back (or receiving proof of postage).
