The Sound of Garlic
More Than Just a Name
OUR SEAL OF EXCELLENCE
FOR THE VERY BEST OF
GARLIC
At Garlic Shop, we take flavour seriously. Ourselves? Not so much.
The Sound of Garlic is our little paradox: a playful idea that became our most serious mark of quality.
It started off as a fart. A long, unapologetic, echoing pffffrrrtttt. The kind that tickles your inner twelve-year-old and makes you laugh even when you try not to. This was the original “Sound of Garlic,” a satirical sound clip we released just for fun.
But here’s the thing: from that absurd moment… something stuck. What began as pure satire evolved into a symbol because, behind the laughter, we realised that little sound clip was unmistakably us: fun, niche, slightly out of pocket, immediately memorable, and oddly confident. The more we joked about it, the more it became obvious: if we ever needed a symbol for our best products, this should be it.
A sound you can't ignore, followed by a declaration that is bold, simple, and ours.

When you see this mark on a product, it means real garlic fanatics have tried it and agreed it is one of the best garlic goods out there. It is something we use ourselves and something we recommend to anyone who loves garlic.
It’s seriously good, without taking itself too seriously.

Laughter, Legacy, and a Little Bit of Garlic
We live in a world overloaded with perfection. Pristine food shots. Flawless recipes. But sometimes, it’s the imperfect, the playful, and the human moments — like a fart — that make something truly authentic and unforgettable. That authenticity is what makes the Sound of Garlic's quality seal so powerful.
The Sound of Garlic reminds us that food should be fun. That laughter and flavour are not opposites. That the best things in life are often the simplest: garlic, oil, heat… and maybe a side of satire.
So next time you’re cooking and you hear that glorious noise, smile. You’re not just making dinner.
You’re hearing The Sound of Garlic.
