Ingredients

  • 2 cups (300g) cornmeal, * 1.5 cups (200g) shredded cheese (Sulguni, mozzarella, or a mix with feta works well), * 3-4 cloves garlic, minced, * 1 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk, * 1 large egg, * 1 tsp baking powder, * 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to cheese saltiness), * 2 tbsp butter or oil for frying.

Instructions

1. Combine The Cornmeal

In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.

2. Whisk Together The Yogurt And Egg

In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt and egg.
